Quiet luxury frames. No logo.

You already own a decent pair. You still feel underdressed.

The Vale is Italian acetate, polarized grey lenses, and gold-finished temples, with nothing printed on the front. It is the pair you reach for on a Tuesday.

Limited atelier runs. No waitlist.

The Vale on a professional leaving the office

The pair in your bag is doing one of two things

  • It has a logo large enough to read from across the table.
  • Or it is thin, shiny plastic that looked fine in the store and cheap by lunch.
  • You already dress like you mean it. The frames are the one thing that still argues.

Your last pair was not 'fine.' The shape was doing none of the work.

Designer sunglasses look expensive because of the word on the temple. Take the word off and most of them are average acetate with a costume tint. That is why you still feel underdressed. The logo was carrying a silhouette that could not stand on its own.

What actually reads as expensive, without a name on it

  1. 01

Italian acetate, denser than the drugstore pair

without the hollow rattle when you set them down

  2. 02

    Polarized grey lenses

without the cheap brown fade that photographs as plastic

  3. 03

Gold-finished temples and a quiet hinge

without hardware that flashes across a conference table

  4. 04

    Nothing printed on the front

without a logo doing the work the shape should do

What changes once they are on your face

Day 1

You wear them out of the office. Nobody asks what brand they are. Someone asks where you got them.

Week 1

They become the pair by the door. The old ones stay in the drawer.

Month 1

You know if they belong. If they do not, you send them back. If they do, you stop shopping for sunglasses.

Questions

Is $385 just a brand markup?

There is no brand name on the front. You are paying for acetate density, polarization, and hardware that does not rattle. If the pair does not belong on your face in 30 days, send it back.

What if they do not fit my face?

Wear them for 30 days. If they do not feel like they belong, contact us through the store support page and we refund you.

Are the lenses actually polarized?

Yes. Grey polarized lenses, not a costume tint.

Where do you ship?

The US, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Tracking is emailed when the order leaves the studio.

Will I look like I am trying too hard?

That is the logo problem. These have none. The silhouette is quiet on purpose.

Why would I buy two pair?

One for the office, one for the car. The two-pair tier is there so you stop leaving the only pair in a jacket you are not wearing.

Stop letting a logo do the work.
